In February, Menton pays tribute to the lemon with a very colourful festival. Entirely decorated with citrus fruit, the floats parade through the streets, delighting young and old alike. At nightfall, “corsos” light up the town to the sound of fanfares. For 15 days, exhibitions on special themes, craft markets and shows with music fill the agenda. Each year since 1934, the Lemon Festival has drawn thousands of spectators from around the world.
