Steeped in charm and history, "La Grande Dame" stands like a sumptuous property at the heart of the legendary Croisette. Guided by this precious heritage, architect Richard Lavelle and interior decorator Tristan Auer have restored its aura, brilliantly pairing its "Belle Époque" style with contemporary touches. From Rooms to Suites (27 to 102 sq.m) to the Iconic Suites (55 to 352 sq.m), all of the Palace's 332 luxury accommodations are clad in timeless elegance.
Tastefully decorated with care for detail, they bask in natural light and convey the French art of living. They all also offer unimpeded views, of the movie town, the patio's inner garden, or the sea, Port Canto and as far as the Palais des Festivals. These ones benefit from a "love seat" designed by Tristan Auer, in an alcove near the window, to admire the scenery with its changing reflections, and daydream - all day long!
In honor of movie legends, the Iconic Suites are named after celebrities who have stayed at the Carlton Cannes such as Grace Kelly, Cary Grant, Sean Connery, Kirk Douglas, and Alfred Hitchcock. With refined decor and warm atmospheres, they offer a most elegant setting. The star of the show is the Katara Suite of over 350 sq.m, the largest in the hotel. On the top floor, it is comprised of a sumptuous lounge, a dining-room, two bedrooms with bathrooms, a luxurious sauna, and two vast terraces with a view of the town on one side, the Mediterranean on the other. The embodiment of luxury and elegance for a unique experience in the capital of the 7th Art.
