Presentation

It was in Marseille, a city facing the sea, that Pain de Sucre came into being in 1985, a firm dedicated 100% to the design of high-end women's swimwear. Self-taught and avant-garde in their approach to designing seafront clothing, Christian Keusseyan and Bernard Evans soon came up with their concept of the swimsuit. From a family of tailors/couturiers driven by a passion for their work, they inherited experience of made-to-measure and the craftsman's know-how. Both the bikini and the one-piece swimsuit became star features of women's wardrobes, then borrowing the codes of ready-to-wear. Represented by over 650 multibrand retailers worldwide, Pain de Sucre now has about 30 boutiques/corners presenting its label: in St-Barths, Knokke, Geneva, Monaco, Paris, Cannes, Saint-Tropez... Many wonderful tales to be shared...

Good to know

Pain de Sucre is a real invitation to travel.
It places itself at the service of its clients so that they find the swimwear of their dreams…
A touch of exoticism, a warm ambiance.
Noble and natural materials: wood, stone and Indonesian creepers seem to rise from the earth.
The curves of the furnishings are pure, the atmosphere light and mineral.
Touches of plantlife here and there, subdued light.
